One Health: working towards a more respectful approach to animals, people and the environment. Every health issue is embedded into a complex network of social, economical, biological and psychological factors. By analysing (animal) health problems as complex adaptive systems, new and more sustainable approaches to tackle disease and welfare are expected to emerge.
