Simon Fichtner

Simon Fichtner received the M.Sc. degree in physics from the Institute of Theoretical Physics and Astrophysics, Kiel University, in 2013. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in piezoelectric AlScN thin films with the Group for Materials and Processes for Nanosystem Technologies, Kiel University, while working with Fraunhofer Institute for Silicon Technology, Fraunhoferstr. His research interests include pyroelectric and ferroelectric materials and their application in microelectronics with a focus on MEMS, and III-nitride-based compounds.
