Dr. Silvia Titan is a nephrologist and physician-scientist, senior associate consultant in the Division of Nephrology & Hypertension at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, since 2022. Her practice and research are focused on chronic kidney disease and glomerulonephritis, with the use of clinical and epidemiological studies to investigate risks factors, biomarkers, and determinants of CKD progression and outcomes.

She is the principal investigator of the Progredir Study, a cohort of people with CKD in Brazil. She was recently awarded the "Mary Kathryn and Michael B. Panitch Career Development Award in Hypertension Research Honoring Gary Schwartz, M.D." to investigate genetic determinants of CKD.
