Siddharth Kumar

Siddharth Kumar received the bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow, India, in 2007. In 2009, he joined ITER-India, IPR, Gandhinagar, India, as a Mechanical Engineer. He is an Official Contact Person with ITER Organization, France, for communications under the Procurement Arrangement of Upper Port-09 (design, manufacturing, and integration). He is responsible for mechanical design and integration coordination, in close collaboration with IO-CT port engineering team and systems RO’s of tenant supports in the diagnostic shield modules, interspace, and port cell support structures among other responsibilities. He is experienced in FEA analysis of nuclear components and validation of results as per RCC-MR mechanical codes. He is also an ASNT NDT (nondestructive testing) Level-2 certified. He also worked as a Lecturer at Graphic Era University, Dehradun, India, for a brief period and as an Assistant Project Engineer at S.F.E, Gurgaon, India. He has also published a number of conference papers.
