Neuro-immunologist with extensive experience in clinical and in-vivo paradigms of cerebral ischaemia, neurodegeneration, systemic immunology and multi-parametric flow cytometry analysis. Currently, a post-doctoral research associate at the University of Manchester investigating how local stimuli shape immune networks at the oral barrier using pre-clinical models and clinical samples. Previous clinical and pre-clinical research experience in the UK, USA and India in academic and industrial settings in inflammatory bowel disease and Alzheimer’s disease using multi-modal molecular biology and behavioural techniques.
