Bio
ShiNung Ching (Member, IEEE) received the B.Eng. (Hons.) degree from McGill University, Montreal, QC, Canada, the M.A.Sc. degree from the University of Toronto, Toronto, ON, Canada, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, USA. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Preston M. Green Department of Electrical and Systems Engineering, Washington University in St. Louis, St. Louis, MO, USA. He was subsequently a Postdoctoral Associate with the Harvard Medical School. He is author of more than 90 refereed papers and the textbook Quasilinear Control. His research interests are in the intersection of systems and control theory, theoretical neuroscience, and neural engineering.
