Dr. Shih-Fan (Sam) Lin is a Core Investigator at the Institute for Behavioral and Community Health (IBACH) and is currently the Co-Leader of Health Data Analytic Group (HDAG) and the Measurement Methods Group (MMG) at SDSU HealthLINK Center where he provides training and consultations to investigators and faculty on data management, biostatistics, measurement, and Electronic Data Capture (EDC) system. He has vast experience managing and analyzing data for many federally funded research projects and the expertise in data systems for complex mixed-methods studies and strategies for ensuring data quality at all stages. Dr. Lin’s research interests include racial health disparities, childhood obesity, older adult disability, and falls prevention.
