Bio
Sherif M. Dabour (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Zagazig University, Zagazig, Egypt, in 2002, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical power engineering from Tanta University, Tanta, Egypt, in 2012 and 2015, respectively.
From 2003 to 2009, he was a Certified Trainer with the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Since 2009, he has been with the Faculty of Engineering, Tanta University. He is currently an Assistant Professor and the Coordinator of the Power Electronics Applications Research Lab, Faculty of Engineering, Tanta University.
Dr. Dabour is also a Treasurer for the IEEE Power Electronics Society (PELS) Egypt Chapter. Moreover, he is a Reviewer for several journals, including IEEE Transaction on Power Electronics, IEEE Transaction Industrial Electronics, IET Power Applications, and IET Power Electronics. His research interests include PWM techniques, power converters, electric drives, and renewable energy conversion systems.
