In September 2019, Shengwei Cui graduated from School of Electronic Science and Technology of Xiamen University. During October 2016 to October 2018, co-educated in the United States at the university of Florida college of photonic and optoelectronic (UCF | CREOL), Aristide Dogariu's research team. He has presided over the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National High Level University Construction Public Graduate Program, and the Natural Science Foundation of Hebei Province. He has published more than 10 SCI papers such as Optics Letters and Optics Express, which have been cited more than 260 times. Strong background in quantitative phase imaging, microscopy, vortex beams, detecting topological charge, polarization control, coherent optics, Airy and Bessel beams, light propagation and transformation, and visible solid-state lasers.
