Shawn R. Tornga

Dr. Shawn Tornga is a scientist in the Space Science and Applications group at Los Alamos National Laboratory. She received her Ph.D. in nuclear engineering from the University of New Mexico in 2013 conducting research on mobile, hybrid, gamma-ray imaging systems for Homeland Security. She has been at LANL for 13 years working primarily on gamma-ray imaging, and modeling and simulation for the USNDS program. She is currently the project leader for the VV&A component of the program responsible for DIORAMA development.
