Bio
He is a recipient of the US Department of Energy’s Early Career Principal Investigator award. His areas of expertise are in theory, modeling and simulation of multiphase flows (including sprays, particle-laden flows, colloids and granular mixtures), turbulence, mixing, and reacting flows. His current research concerns direct numerical simulation of granular and gas-solid flows, bubbly flows, and hierarchical coarse-graining approaches. He has served on the editorial board of the journal Atomization and Sprays and International Journal of Spray and Combustion Dynamics.
