个人简介
Dr. Jiang’s research interest has focused on developing and applying novel MRI methodologies to neurological diseases. She had the education and training of 13 years in medical universities, and the clinical practice of 6 years as a radiologist, with a specialty in neuroimaging.
As a Trainee and Postdoctoral Fellow at Johns Hopkins, she implemented the protein-based Amide Proton Transfer-weighted (APTw) MRI approach, a specific type of Chemical Exchange Saturation Transfer (CEST) imaging, for imaging of brain tumor and other neurological diseases. Her most recent research includes the development of APTw MRI-guided stereotactic biopsy and the validation of the pathology underlying the APTw contrast in gliomas, as well as radiogenomics using APTw MRI and machine learning in glioma patients, an important research area of precision medicine. Dr. Jiang published in vivoCEST/APT imaging studies in both animals and humans in recent years.
Her most recent paper about APTw image-guided brain tumor stereotacticbiopsy published in European J. Cancer received a highly enthusiastic review. This is an important study with significant clinical implications demonstrating the potential of APTw imaging in neuro-oncology.
At Johns Hopkins, Dr. Jiang has established a multidisciplinary research team consisting of computer scientists, MRI scientists, clinicians, and biostatisticians.
The overall goal of her research is to push the APTw MRI methodology research and clinical applications to brain tumor, multiple sclerosis and other neurological diseases and the entire CEST-MRI field to a whole new level.
