个人简介
Shad holds a PhD from Cornell University and has taught at The Ohio State University, Samsung’s SKK GSB, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He was a Fulbright Scholar and Research Fellow at Cambridge University. His research and teaching focus on people management and international business. He has co-authored five books and over 30 scholarly articles on these topics. Some of his notable publications are: An architectural framework for global talent management, which proposes a comprehensive model for designing and implementing talent management systems across different contexts and cultures. Catching falling stars, which examines how HR practices can help retain and motivate high-performing employees who suffer from information overload. Relational archetypes, organizational learning, and value creation, which develops a typology of four relational archetypes that describe how firms manage their human resources and how they affect organizational learning and performance. Six principles of effective global talent management, which identifies six key principles that can guide multinational firms in designing and implementing their global talent management strategies. He is currently working on several research projects that explore how companies with higher purpose build more inclusive cultures that drive performance.
