Sebastian Binnewies

Sebastian Binnewies received the Ph.D. degree in artificial intelligence from Griffith University, Brisbane, Australia, in 2016. He is currently a Senior Lecturer with the School of Information and Communication Technology, Griffith University, Brisbane, QLD, Australia, and the Director of the Griffith App Factory. As a member of the Big Data and Smart Analytics Lab, his research interests include data mining, social media analytics, knowledge representation, and natural language processing. He has been an early adopter and champion of online teaching methodologies with Griffith University, including learning analytics systems. He oversees the student enterprise App Factory, Griffith University, where high-achieving students and graduates are developing real-life software systems to expand their employability and entrepreneurship skills.
