Bio

Sebastian is Professor for Cloud Infrastructures and agile IT-Operations at the The FHNW University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland. Prior, he was working as a Software Architect, Product Owner and Product Manager at the Swiss Federal Railways, where he focussed on DevOps-Paradigms and Cloud-/Container Infrastructures. Before, he was working as a PhD student and research assistant at the University of Konstanz. His areas were high performance computing, cloud storage and archival of scientific data. In this time, he shaped and worked on multiple DFG and BMBF-projects like bwGrid and Movebank.
