Bio
Scott Lindner received the M.Eng. degree in electronics and electrical engineering from the University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, U.K., in 2011.
From 2011 to 2013, he was a trainee with the microelectronics section of the European Space Research and Technology Centre, Noordwijk, The Netherlands, where he worked on analog IC design for space applications. Since 2013, he has been pursuing the Ph.D. degree from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL) in collaboration with the Biomedical Optics Research Laboratory (BORL) at the University Hospital Zürich. His research is focused on the design of SPAD-based CMOS image sensors for use in biomedical applications, e.g., near-infrared optical tomography (NIROT).
