Bio
I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Chemistry department of University of Nebraska-Lincoln. As a graduate research assistant, I have analyzed the interactions between drugs and serum proteins as well as drugs and humic acids under conditions replicating their biological or natural environment using high-performance affinity chromatography (HPAC). I also acted as one of the team leaders for developing a rapid sandwich flow immunoassay for detecting COVID-19 virus. I am currently designing a basic simulation platform for binding and rate studies for ultrafast affinity extraction, a type of HPAC.
