Bio
PhD in Psychology (Cum Laude). Tenure assistant professor and coordinator of the Degree in Psychology at the Faculty of Education and Psychology (UdG). Two six-year research periods and two five-year teaching periods (AQU). Accreditation as Associate Professor (MECE). Since 2005 she has been teaching at undergraduate level in the area of social psychology at the UdG and, since 2017, at postgraduate level at both the UdG and the UB. It is worth mentioning her participation in the Master's Degree in Psychosocial Intervention where she has taught on Childhood and adolescence at social risk, social change and well-being and, in addition, she has directed and assessed master's degree final projects.
Since 2003 he has been a member of the ERIDIQV research team, which he joined thanks to an FPI pre-doctoral grant from the MICINN linked to the team's first R&D project. This has allowed her to take part as a researcher in 22 competitive projects (6 international, 6 national, and 10 from universities) and 19 non-competitive projects (Jacobs Foundation, UNICEF, AGAUR, SGR, City Councils, and agreements with the third sector). Since 2021 he co-coordinates the ERIDIQV team together with Dr. Mònica González-Carrasco. She leads the line on the responsible use of ICT and social networks in adolescents, in which she developed her thesis. Her recent contribution to knowledge transfer stands out as principal investigator of the project Promotion for a responsible and healthy use of technologies in secondary education (Social Council of the UdG) and also as head of a scientific collaboration agreement with a Centre for Child Development and Early Care with the project Relationship between the use of screens and early childhood development. Another of the lines in which she is actively involved is that of subjective well-being in childhood and adolescence, which has allowed her to adapt and apply quantitative and qualitative instruments, and to exploit cross-sectional, longitudinal data at national and international level. Currently, she is a researcher in the current R&D National Plan project of the team and the International Survey of Children’s Well-Being, Children’s Worlds project (www.isciweb.org).
She has supervised 6 doctoral theses (Cum Laude), and is supervising 5 more, one of them with an industrial doctorate (AGAUR), demonstrating her ability to train researchers.
She is a member of the Plataforma Mediàtica EDUCAC (Consell Audiovisual de Catalunya), of the Children, Youth and Media section (European Communication Research and Education Association, ECREA), and of the international network on the study of well-being directed by Dr. Magdalena Żemojtel-Piotrowska (Institute of Psychology, University of Gdansk, Poland). She collaborates with the PSiNET research group at the UOC, and she is a foreign collaborator of the Grupo de Pesquisa Contextos Digitais e Desenvolvimento Humano, directed by Dr. Daniel Abs (UFRGS, Porto Alegre, Brazil).
