WORK EXPERIENCE
Postdoctoral Researcher. Dec 2019- Present
-Biofuels Institute, School of Environment Science and Safety Engineering, Jiangsu University, Zhenjiang 212013, China.
PROJECTS:
Ph. D. (Tech), Topic: “Extraction of biopolymers and their modification for application in medical textile”. Sept 2013-March 2019
The project involved the extraction and modification of biopolymers for their potential application in wound healing. The scaffold exhibited good hemostatic activity against hemorrhage and tissue growth for the effective wound healing process.
M. Tech, Topic: “Optimization of detergent ingredients using statistical modeling for stain removal”. July 2011-June 2013
The project included preparing stained fabrics and studying various parameters of detergent ingredients that affect stain removal. The detergent ingredient was optimized by statistical experimental design (Design Expert).
•Industrial sponsor project fellow, Topic: “Yellowing of fabrics”
Worked for the “Hindustan Unilever Limited” project for 18 months from Dec 2011 to April 2013 under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) R. V. Adivarekar, Department of Fibres and Textiles Processing Technology, ICT, Mumbai.
Project included study of fatty acids and various home laundry parameters that cause yellowing of bleached cotton fabrics.
•B. Tech Topic: "Comparative study of dyeing behavior & physical properties of micro-denier polyester & normal polyester". July 2006- June 2010.
Worked under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Shirishkumar Vhanbatte, Department of Textile Chemistry, D.K.T.E College, Ichalkaranji.
