Bio
Nathan Picchietti Salowitz received the B.S. degree in engineering mechanics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in aeronautics and astronautics from Stanford University, Stanford, CA, USA, in 2001, 2006, and 2013, respectively.
He was a Structural Analyst with Boeing from 2003 to 2005. He has been an Engineering Research Associate with the Structures and Composites Laboratory, Stanford University. His current research interests include micro and nano scale sensor and actuator networks, including MEMS and NEMS, for structural health monitoring and intelligent structures.
Dr. Salowitz was a Primary Coordinator of the 2009, 2011, and 2013 International Workshop on Structural Health Monitoring.
