个人简介
Sajad is an active member of Materials engineering at the Energy Safety Research Institute (ESRI), Swansea University. He was a BSc of Petroleum and MSc in Nanomaterials Engineering. His research interest is mainly on fluid transport in porous materials and new technologies in the field of materials with functionalized nanomaterials and Soft materials. During his time at ESRI, he has been at the forefront of designing and creating new nanomaterials that are used within the medical sector (during COVID), fluid flow transport (nanoparticle and surfactant design), and CO2 capturing technology (carbon sphere for CO2 capture). The materials created at ESRI, are being used by British companies such as SALTS healthcare in the fight against COVID-19 by way of creating new and improved anti-viral face masks. Before his current position, he worked as a researcher at the Research Institute of Petroleum Industry (RIPI) in Iran for five years. He worked as a Nanomaterial Engineering for more than two years in various consulting engineering companies in Iran specialising in painting, petroleum, and production engineering. He is a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), and the American Chemical Society (ACS).
Awards
Was awarded 2014 the young talents award for the best invention in the oil and gas industry between 300 inventions from Iran National Elites Foundation (INEF) for a novel mass-production method of metal oxide nanoparticles. In 2016, he has fully funded a PhD Scholarship at Swansea University for three years.
