个人简介
In 2012, Saeid Rastegar started the Ph.D. program in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the University of Coimbra, Portugal. He is a member of the Portuguese Institute for Systems and Robotics (ISR-Coimbra). His research interests include Artificial Intelligent Systems, Model Predictive Control, Nonlinear Systems Modeling, Hierarchical Fuzzy Systems, Unsupervised Clustering, Time-Series Data Analysis, and Robust Control Design. He was awarded a Ph.D. scholarship by Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT) for four years (Start date: 2013-04- 01; End date: 2017-03-31). He completed his Ph.D. on 30th November 2017 with the honor "Approved with praise and distinction level (APDL)" in Electrical and Computer Engineering- With a specialization in Automation and Robotics. His recent contribution, in a position of a Postdoctoral researcher, was in a project entitled "SIICEI - Intelligent System for Identification of Electrical Loads in Industrial Equipment (Reference number: SIICEI/2017/33338)". Host institutions are "University of Coimbra (UC); OnControl Technologies, Lda (leader partner); Advanced Home, Lda". The project was financed by Portugal 2020 (PT2020), in the framework of the Centro Region Operational Programme (CENTRO 2020), and by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). As another recent contribution, in a position of a Co-PI, he participated in a granted project entitled "Estimation of the decay rate of COVID-19 corona-virus by using of computational intelligence systems techniques in the surface, air, and wastewater in the selected reference hospitals" granted by the World Health Organization (WHO), Cairo, The Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office.
