Sonia Vallet

Sonia Vallet graduated in 2001 at the Medical University of Torino, Italy. She completed her fellowship in haematolgy in 2005 at the University of Torino. She worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston till 2010. From 2010 to 2015 she worked as Hematologist/Oncologist and senior scientist at the National Center for Tumor Diseases in Heidelberg, Germany. Since 2016 she is attending physician at the Department of Internal Medicine of the University Clinic of Krems, Austria. She is also working in the Division of Molecular Oncology and Haematology of the Department of General and Translational Oncology and Hematology at the Karl Landsteiner University of Health Sciences. Her research focuses on the pathophysiology of bone metastatic disease and the treatment of urogenital cancers.
