个人简介
Scott B. Jones received the B.S. degree in civil engineering from Brigham Young University, Provo, UT, in 1989, and the M.S. degree in agricultural and irrigation engineering and the Ph.D. degree in soil physics from Utah State University, Logan, UT, in 1992 and 1997, respectively.
He was a Post-Doctoral Fellow with the Department of Soil, Water and Environmental Sciences, Volcani Institute, Israel, from 1997 to 1999, and Utah State University from 1999 to 2001. From 2001 to 2004, he was a Research Assistant Professor, an Assistant Professor from 2004 to 2008, and an Associate Professor from 2008 to 2013, and is currently a Professor with the Department of Plants, Soils and Climate, Utah State University. He has authored three book chapters, more than 100 articles, and a provisional patent.
He has designed and tested experiments for microgravity with over 300 parabolas flown on NASA’s parabolic flight aircraft, aka the vomit comet in addition to two Optimization of Root Zone Substraltes International Space Station Experiments.
