Bio
My current research is on two main topics:
1) construction of atomic magnetometer, especially for biomedical applications. Now, I am working on optically pumped atomic magnetometer by using Rb atoms, which aims to miniturization for compact devices.
2) synthesis and modification of graphene and other 2D materials for novel applications. I syntheize graphene by chemical vapor deposition and modify graphene by using laser scribe and doping nitrogen by plasma implatation.
Also, my research's interest expands to wetting phenomena and water treatment, which ultizes photocatalysts with improvements by metal doping.
Previously, my PhD research is on molecular manipulation by scanning tunneling microscope. This involves chemical bond breaking, desorption and diffusion of chlorobenzene molecules, and PCB molecular switching on silicon surfaces.
