Shibnath Pathak

Shibnath Pathak received the master’s degree in physics from IIT Madras, Chennai, India, in 2009, and the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Information Technology (INTEC), Ghent University, and imec in 2014. He joined the Department of Information Technology (INTEC), Ghent University, and imec. In the Photonics Research Group, he specialized in the modeling, design, and fabrication of nanophotonic components. From December 2013 to September 2015, he was a Post-Doctoral Research Scholar with the University of California at Davis, Davis, CA, USA, where he was involved in the design and characterization of silicon, silicon nitride, and InP-based integrated devices. In October 2015, he joined Lumentum LLC, Milpitas, CA, USA, where he is involved in the design and characterization of InP-based integrated devices.
