Sergey Danilov

Sergey N. Danilov received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Peter the Great St. Petersburg State Polytechnic University (former Leningrad Polytechnic Institute), St. Petersburg, Russia, in 1980 and 1999, respectively. After graduation in 1980, he joined the Peter the Great St. Petersburg State Polytechnic University (former Leningrad Polytechnic Institute), St. Petersburg, Russia, as a Junior Research Fellow with the Department of Physics of Semiconductors and Nanoelectronics, becoming an Associate Professor. Since 2002, he has been a Research Fellow with the Faculty of Physics, University of Regensburg, Regensburg, Germany. His research interests include physics of semiconductors, nanoelectronics, photoelectric phenomena under infrared and terahertz excitation, laser physics, and several other areas.
