Shih-Yu Chen

Shih-Yu Chen (Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree from Da-Yeh University, Changhua, Taiwan, in 2005, the M.S. degree from National Chung Hsing University, Taichung, Taiwan, in 2010, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, Baltimore, MD, USA, in 2014, all in electrical engineering. From 2014 to 2018, he served as an Assistant Professor with the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, National Yunlin University of Science and Technology, Yunlin, Taiwan, where he has been an Associate Professor since 2018. His research interests include multi/hyperspectral image processing, medical signal processing, image processing, and pattern recognition.
