I am a biogeochemist/soil ecologist with a particular interest in the role that microbial extracellular enzymes play in organic matter decomposition, soil formation, nutrient cycling and greenhouse gas emissions. Currently interested in rewilding effects on spatial and temporal variation in microbial functions and biogeochemistry, Martian regolith simulant and monitoring the sound of soil for soil health.
