Sulaiman Shaari received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in physics, each from Kansas State University, Manhattan in 1984 and from University of Missouri, Kansas City, in 1987, both from United States of America. Later in 1998, he completed his Ph.D. in photovoltaic systems from De Montfort University, Leicester, United Kingdom. He is currently a Professor with the Universiti Teknologi MARA, Shah Alam, Malaysia. Besides doing the regular academic job such as teaching, supervising, and researching, he is a member of the Green Energy Research Centre, and the founding Director of the Photovoltaic Systems Monitoring Centre (PVMC). The PVMC has been a center of reference from many agencies, and local and international companies.
