个人简介
I've led algorithmic co-design teams that optimize AI supercomputers for large-scale training and inferencing. This work includes multiple initiatives taking cutting-edge innovations like narrow-precision data types and sparsity into AI clouds at scale production, including Project Brainwave and the Maia accelerator.
I also co-founded and led the OCP MX consortium that standardized the industry’s first set of 4- and 6-bit data types for AI, along with major industry partners such as NVIDIA, AMD, Microsoft, and Meta. With over a decade of R&D experience in AI hardware, software, and algorithmic co-design, I'm passionate about pushing the limits of AI infrastructure and research. I’m effective at cross-team collaboration, and enjoy coaching and leading high-performing teams.
