Bio
Rosa Direito finished her PhD in Pharmacy (focus on Food Science) on 2019/07/09 through the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Lisbon, has a Masters in Biochemistry attained in 2009 by the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the University of Coimbra and a Bachelors degree in Biochemistry attained in 2005 from this same university. She collaborates with the University of Lisbon's Research Institute for Medicines (iMed.ULisboa) and is the acting Scientific Director for Prime Matter Consulting, Lda, a multidisciplinary consulting firm dedicated to political, management and scientific consulting. She has her name published in 15 articles published in peer-reviewed scientific journals, including 1 book chapter. She has received 1 prize/grant attributed by the Dean of the University of Lisbon. She acts in the área of Natural Sciences with emphasis on Biological Sciences, more specifically on Biochemistry, and in Medical and Health Sciences, with an emphasis on Nutrition and Dietetics. Thus far she has interacted with at least 98 colleagues in co-authorship of scientific work.
