Bio
Ron C. Chiang received the PhD degree in computer engineering from
the George Washington University in 2014. He is an assistant professor at the University of St. Thomas. His research
interest includes virtualization, cloud computing, task scheduling, and storage systems. He received a Distinguish
Performance Award for advancing Taiwan’s J2ME development in 2005 and the Best Student Paper Award Finalist in
the International Conference for High Performance Computing, Networking, Storage and Analysis, 2011 (SC’11). He
is a member of the IEEE.
