个人简介
Dr. Robert Strong’s significant research, teaching, and service impacts strengthen TAMU’s translational research. He joined the Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education, and Communications as an Assistant Professor in 2010. He investigates agricultural Extension stakeholder impacts of Agriculture 4.0 innovations adoption. Strong earned the Outstanding Researcher Award from the American Association for Agricultural Education. He and co-investigators have received over $6,357,000 in federal funding with over $599,600 of those external funds supporting Strong’s research program. He has written 53 refereed journal articles, two book chapters, and over 150 conference proceedings. Strong teaches leading change, technological change, and social science research. He has completed six doctoral students, 26 master’s students, and served on 52 other graduate student committees. Internationally, he led five study abroad courses to Belize, Costa Rica, Trinidad and Tobago, reviews dissertations for the University of the West Indies and University College Dublin and led as President of the Association for International Agricultural and Extension Education. Strong is a Senior Editor of Advancements in Agricultural Development and was Executive Editor of the Journal of International Agricultural and Extension Education. He is a Fellow in the American Association for Agricultural Education and a Fellow in the Association for International Agricultural and Extension Education.
