Ricky Gibson

Ricky Gibson received the B.S. degree in physics from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, CA, USA, in 2006, the M.S. degree in physics from California State University, Fullerton, CA, in 2008, and the second M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in optical sciences from the University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ, USA, in 2011 and 2016, respectively. He joined the Air Force Research Laboratory Sensors Directorate, as a Postdoctoral Researcher, in 2016, and transitioned into a civil servant research position in 2020. His research interests include plasmonics, photonic crystals, integrated photonics, III-V molecular beam epitaxy, frequency combs, supercontinuum sources, VECSELs, PCSELs, QCLs, and other novel semiconductor lasers.
