个人简介
Robert Fleischer’s main research interest is the Standard Model of Particle Physics and its extensions, with a focus on flavor physics and CP violation as probes for "new” physics. In this line of research, B-mesons, which are particles composed of a b ("beauty") quark and a light antiquark, play a key role and are the subject of the dedicated LHCb experiment at CERN’s Large Hadron Collider. Robert Fleischer has a long-standing interest in the physics potential of this experiment and keeps strong interactions with the corresponding experimental groups at Nikhef and the VU, which is also reflected by a FOM ‘projectruimte’ grant that he shares with Gerhard Raven.
