Richard Stebbings

Richard Stebbings is a Senior Director of Oncology Safety Science at AstraZeneca. He best known for his seminal work on cytokine release induced by TGN1412, a CD28-specific superagonistic mAb. In a series of elegant studies and publications, he and his team unravelled the causes of the failure of the nonclinical safety studies in cynomolgus monkeys conducted by Tegenero to predict cytokine storm in man.
