Bio
I was awarded his Ph.D. in Biophysics from Imperial College London (London, UK) in 2012. Over the following years, I have worked as a post-doctoral research investigating the use of ultrasound and contrast agents for targeted drug delivery of gene vectors and radiolabelled antibodies at Imperial College London and King’s College London (London, UK) respectively. In 2014, I joined the BUBBL group at the University of Oxford to developing ultrasound contrast agents loaded with cisplatin nanoparticles for the targeted treatment of head and neck cancers.
Since 2016, I have been involved in a Pancreatic Research Fund project investing the use of sonodynamic therapy to augment traditional or targeted chemoradiotherapy in pancreatic cancer. Other areas of interest include the development of ultrasound compatible 3D phantoms for cell based drug delivery work, and a collaboration investigating the use of ultrasound for targeted delivery of chemotherapy constructs in bladder cancer.
