He has authored or coauthored more than a dozen of IEEE conference and journal articles. He holds several patents. His current researches are largely focused on circuits and systems architectures for machine learning in emerging communications and computer systems.,Dr. Dorrance is a co-recipient of the Best Industry Paper Award at RFIC 2019, Boston, MA, USA. He is currently serving as the Vice Chair for the Oregon Chapter of the IEEE Solid-States Circuits Society (SSCS) and as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology.
