Bio
Rene Schüffny received the Dr.-Ing (Ph.D.) and the Dr.-Ing. habil. (D.Sc.) degrees from Technische Universität Dresden, Dresden, Germany, in 1976 and 1983, respectively.
Since April 1997, he has held the Chair of Highly-Parallel VLSI-Systems and Neuromorphic Circuits, Technische Universität Dresden. His research interests include CMOS image sensors and vision chips, design and modelling of analog and digital parallel VLSI architectures, and neural networks. He has authored or coauthored articles in numerous publications.
Dr. Schüffny has acted as a reviewer for several international journals.
