René Gassmöller

Rene Gassmöller received the Ph.D. degree in geophysics from the University of Potsdam, Germany in 2015, in cooperation with the German Research Centre for Geosciences. He is a project scientist with the Computational Infrastructure for Geodynamics, University of California, Davis. His research focuses on the interaction between mantle convection and plate tectonic processes, numerical methods of geodynamic modeling, and sustainable software development in the earth sciences.
