Bio
Reinaldo Tonkoski (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.A.Sc. degree in control and automation engineering and the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do RS (PUC-RS), Brazil, in 2004 and 2006, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from Concordia University, Canada, in 2011.
Currently, he is a Professor and the Chair for Electric Power Transmission and Distribution with the Technical University of Munich. He has authored over 100 technical publications in peer reviewed journals and conferences. He is also an Editor of IEEE Transactions on Sustainable Energy, IEEE Access, and IEEE Systems Journal. His research interests include the grid integration of sustainable energy technologies, energy management, power electronics, and control systems.
