Bio
Rebecca L. Vincelette was born in Laramie, WY. She received the B.S. degree in both electrical engineering and chemistry from the University of Wyoming, Laramie, in 2001, and the M.S.E. and Ph.D. degrees in biomedical engineering from the University of Texas, Austin, in 2004 and 2009, respectively.
In 2003, she received the Health Professionals Scholarship from the United States Air Force. From 2004 to 2007, she was a Bioenvironmental Engineer with the United States Air Force. During 2007, she was with the Air Force Research Laboratory's Optical Radiation Branch, Brooks City-Base, TX, where she was selected for the Consortium Research Fellowship Program. She is currently with the Air Force Research Laboratory's Radio-Frequency Radiation Branch as a National Research Council Post-Doctorate. Her research interests include organic or biological organisms' response to nonionizing radiation sources.
