个人简介
Rebecca Caesar is a specialist practitioner and clinical manager. Her research is aimed at delivering cost effective prioritised services for at risk preterm infants. She has been instrumental in translating research into practice in developing the Neonatal Neurodevelopmental Clinic (NNC) at SCUH, a specialised developmental continuum of care for very preterm and very low birth weight infants and infants with birth trauma and adverse neoenatal neurological events including HIE, Stroke, Seizures, prolonged ventilation and ECMO. The NNC aims to facilitate early robust prediction of overall risk for neurodevelopmental outcome to prioritise early intervention and longer term targeted therapuetic interventions. This is facilitated through a seamless referral pathway from the Neonatal Unit to the Outpatient setting and supported by a multidisciplinary team.
