Bio
Rashad Ramzan (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. degree in electronics engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan, in 1994, the M.Sc. degree in electronics engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden, in 2003, and the Ph.D. degree in electronics engineering from Linkoping University, Linkoping, Sweden, in 2009. He designed SMPS, low-noise electronics, digital ASICS, RFICs, and cryogenically cooled electronics. One of his designed LNA was published at the ISSCC 2007. He is involved in research and development throughout his professional career. He has authored over 60 journals, U.S. patents, and conference papers. His current research interests include software-defined radio hardware, RFICs, discrete Fourier transform circuits for RFICs, LNAs, low-power biomedical circuits, and microwave sensors and circuits. He was a recipient of two best paper awards. He is a reviewer for several IEEE publications.
