Raquel Rodriguez Monje

Raquel Rodriguez Monje received the M.S. degree in telecommunication engineering from Universidad Europea de Madrid, Spain, in 2003, and the M.S. degree in digital communications system and technology and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden, in 2003 and 2008, respectively. Her Ph.D. thesis was on low noise superconductor-insulator-superconductor (SIS) mixers for submillimeter and millimeter-wave astronomy. In 2015, she joined the Radar Science and Engineering Section, Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), Pasadena, USA, where she is currently a Systems Engineer. During her time in JPL, she has been working in a variety of radar systems that expands from frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) radars to pulsed compact millimeter-wave radars for airborne and spaceborne applications. Her main areas of research interest are development of millimeter and submillimeter wave components for submillimeter astronomy and millimeter-wave radar systems.
