O. V. Ramana Murthy

Venkata Ramana Murthy Oruganti received the bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, India, in 1999, and the master’s degree in research and the doctorate degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, Delhi, India, in 2002 and 2012, respectively. He is currently an Assistant Professor (Sr. Gr.) at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, India. He is also a Visiting Researcher at the School of Computer Science, Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA, USA. He has more than nine years of research experience in reputed universities, including the National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and the University of Canberra, ACT, Australia. His areas of interest include pattern recognition, machine learning, soft computing, control systems, embedded systems, human–computer interaction, and data analytics.
