Myself Dr Rajendra Prasad, Professor in the Department of Applied Sciences (Physics) at Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology, Greater Noida. I have done my Ph. D. from H N B Garhwal Central University, Srinagar Garhwal, Uttarakhand in the year 2006. I have been serving the Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology (Affiliated to AKTU) for more than 10+ years which includes the responsibility of being the subject coordinator of Engineering Physics for almost 8+ years. In total, I have 16+ years of experience in Teaching & Research. An appreciation letter for publishing Research papers in SCI indexed International Journals & Patent was presented to me on the occasion of Teachers day 05-09-2022 by Director GCET on the behalf of Management of Galgotias College of Engineering & Technology, Gr Noida. I am also extensively involved in research. My research publication in the last five years includes 10 International Journals (SCI indexed), 06 International Journals (Scopus indexed) paper and 03 International Book Chapters publication in the field of Materials Science and Dark Energy (Cosmology & Astrophysics). Apart from research papers I also have 01 Granted International Patent & 02 National level Patent to my niche. I feel humbled to be the reviewer of many papers I am a constant learner and therefore actively participate in FDPs, Seminars, Workshops/ Training Programs, in one of which I also received a GOLD MEDAL & All India 7th Ranking, conducted by IIT, Kharagpur. An enthusiast in R & D, I have presented over a dozen papers in various conferences and was the Organizing Secretary of International Conference on Innovation & Application in Science & Technology(ICIAST2021) (ICIAST'-2021) organized by our department. Being associated with young minds for over a decade I have constantly updated my teaching skills to transfer knowledge to the students as efficiently as possible. My aim is to share my experience and knowledge with my students and colleagues so that together we can generate new innovative ideas and contribute to the progress of our country. Dr Rajendra Prasad
