I am an Assistant Professor at the Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (KUFOS), India, where I study both fundamental and applied aspects of tropical aquatic biodiversity. Research activities at my lab primary focus on (1) understanding the diversity of life in the earth’s aquatic ecosystems and deciphering their evolution and biogeography, and (2) generating information to help conserve wild populations of aquatic species, particularly those under threat.
