个人简介
His recent work is focused on machine learning methods for scene understanding on maneuvering platforms. His research interests include multiple areas, such as signal processing with higher order statistics, wavelet transforms and scale-invariant systems, statistical self-similarity, and their applications to modeling in communication and image texture synthesis.,Dr. Rao is an elected Fellow of the International Society for Optical Engineers (SPIE). He is an ABET Program Evaluator for electrical engineering and has served on the Technical Committee for IEEE Signal Processing Society and SPIE. He was also an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems, and The Journal of Electronic Imaging.
